Infant One

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  We are so excited that it is finally spring.  We are looking forward to warmer temps so we can take walks.  There are a few changes to our room this month.  We will say goodbye to Lilly as she starts her new journey in the toddler room.  We wish her well.  Also we will welcome a new friend to our room.  We look forward to getting to know them. and their family.

This month’s theme is all about animals.  We will read books about animals and the sounds they make.  Also animal related crafts will be done.  Please be sure to make sure your child has a jacket and a hot so we can enjoy the nice weather days.

Happy spring.  All of the babies are doing very well.  They love spending time with their friends at school.  They are all growing so fast and learning so much.  We are looking forward to spending more time outside.  Be sure your child has a hat for those windy days and a light jacket.

Older Toddlers

Happy Spring!  We hope everyone enjoyed their St. Patty’s Day and the Easter holiday.  The children really loved our visit from the Leprechaun and the Easter Egg Hunt.  To kickoff April we will be celebrating the week of the young child.  That week we will have fun days as follows: Monday is bring a “friend” to school day (soft, stuffed toy),  Tuesday is share a favorite book day, Wednesday is wacky-crazy hair and clothes day ( have fun and get creative with it, Thursday is wear your favorite color day and Friday is pajama day.  We are all so very excited to see how everyone joins in the fun all week.  During April we will be exploring into the world of our favorite wild animals.  At the the end of the month we will be recognizing Earth Day and Arbor Day.  We will be discussing how the world around us is important and different things we can do to take good care of it.  We will really “dig” into this topic and plant some seeds and go exploring outside as much as possible.  Thank you for all your support and all you do to help the children stay awesome.  Don’t forget to check out all the artwork and activities on your way in and out of the room.  Take home anything in your child’s folder, please.
